In a large unionized higher education setting, hear how this team has developed a process to educate and motivate faculty toward an appreciation and application of QM Standards.   The presenters will share several tools that support this partnership building, including an internal review tool.  Participants will be actively engaged in constructing their own internal partnership process that can be used at their institution. 

Learn how to use an LMS to virtually engage on campus and online students. This can be achieved by creating inclusive and supportive learning environments that allow students to access academic and support services, complete University requirements, and conduct virtual presentations from anywhere.

In this session, participants will discover and discuss the development of a large-scale, programmatic quality assurance plan utilizing master courses across disciplines at a mid-sized community college for an accelerated Associate's Degree program using 5-week courses.

Digital badging is all the rage. But what exactly is a digital badge and how do they work? This presentation will explore the definition of a digital badge, how digital badges work. It will share our experience piloting digital badges for a certificate of completion and attainment of a competency.

Come see how our student workers provide faculty with student perspectives using the QM Rubric. You will get to choose the order as we discuss finding students, selecting SRS, managing the process, and training the students. All aspects will be included in the handouts and materials provided.

QM dreams can become reality! I will share how my initiative at a small Catholic university created a positive impact for students. It included a strategy that made a university-wide impact. We will explore my strategy and how it could drive student success and quality assurance at your institution.

CCCS is reimagining online learning across the state’s 13 community colleges. This session will address our efforts to expand the QM framework to incorporate DEI elements into the criteria for a “healthy course.” We will share resources, successes, and challenges related to promoting equitable online learning experiences.

More than one-quarter of the QM K-12 Rubric (5th ed.) standards have two parts. How can faculty and instructional designers ensure their courses meet both parts of these standards? How can reviewers write recommendations that address both parts?
